Community Consultations Begin in November To support Vital Signs 2018 and Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.

The County Foundation (TCF) and the Prince Edward County Police Services Board invite you to share your thoughts and ideas about our community’s strengths and what you see for our community’s future.

A series of open community conversations will take place in a number of public places in the County on the dates and at the locations indicated.  Additional sessions will be held with key stakeholder groups.  The Public Community Consultations are being held as follows:

AMELIASBURGH TOWN HALL.  Tuesday, November 7 from 4:00-6:00 pm

ST MARY MAGDALENE CHURCH, Community Hall. PICTON.  Tuesday, November 7 from 7:00-9:00 pm

SOPHIASBURG TOWN HALL.  Friday, November 10 from 4:00-6:00 pm

HUB CHILD & FAMILY SERVICES.  PICTON.  Tuesday, November 14 from 12:30-2:00 pm.

PEC LIBRARY.  PICTON BRANCH. Friday, November 17 from 1:00-3:00 pm.

WELLINGTON TOWN HALL.  Friday, November 24 from 4:00-6:00 pm

ATHOL TOWN HALL.  Tuesday, November 28 from 4:00-6:00 pm

This is a unique opportunity for both organizations to deepen their understanding of our community’s needs, which will help guide direction and future decisions. It will also inform The County Foundation’s 2018 Vital Signs project, which measures the vitality of our community, and provide input to the Community Safety and Well-being Plan being developed for The Police Services Board.

Please join us for an engaging discussion at one of the community sessions.  Everyone over the age of 12 is welcome, and light refreshments will be served.
