The County Foundation Board is pleased to announce the creation of two new Funds that will be managed/supported by the Community Foundation.
The first of these is the PEC Syria Education Fund. The purpose of this Fund is to, from time to time, provide grants and bursaries to former refugees pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities or training opportunities with a recognized organization, and who have been privately sponsored or supported by volunteers Prince Edward Syria (PEC Syria) within the County and the Bay of Quinte region.
The second of these is The County Museums Fund. The purpose of this Fund is to, from time to time, provide grants in the following areas of interest to the Donor that serve Prince Edward County:
• Exhibitions at The County Museums
• Special Events at The County Museums
• Educational and/or Public Programming at The County Museums
To donate to these Funds or any County Foundation managed fund you can pay by:
• Cheques to The County Foundation, Suite 103, 280 Main Street, Picton, ON. K0K 2T0.
• Credit Cards through Canada Helps, on this site in the right hand top corner of the Home Page hit DONATE and select the Fund from the drop down menu.
All donations will receive a charitable tax receipt.
