Scholarships and Bursaries

Oeno Gallery Arts Scholarship

Each year The Oeno Gallery Arts Scholarship will be awarded, in the amount of $2,000, to a student pursuing a post-secondary or post-graduate degree in Fine Arts.  An interest in Arts Administration would be preferred. The student will have either be living in Prince Edward County or have been raised and schooled in Prince Edward County.

How to Apply

Application should include the following component pieces

  1. Complete application form (available below)
  2. A short essay (less than 2 pages) or video (less than 5 minutes to be sent to info@thecountyfoundation.ca or to our social media channels) describing the reason for pursuing a degree in Fine Arts and what areas of specialization you intend to follow. Tell us about the program and courses you plan to take.
  3. In addition, a short written response (max 500 words) or short video on the contribution you hope to make to contemporary art in Canada.
  4. A copy of your resume
  5. A letter of reference from either a teacher, professor, or professional from the Arts
  6. A copy of the confirmation of acceptance into the Fine Arts Program.

Preference will go to a scholar studying towards a Masters Level Degree. However, an undergraduate degree pursuant will also be considered.  Arts Administration is preferred.  If there is not a suitable candidate then Donor reserves the right to not award the scholarship in any year.

The deadline for applications is May 31st each year.

Announcements will be made at graduation.
