Project Coordinator ready to start!

We are very excited to announce that Diane Milan has joined us as Project Coordinator. Diane has already begun to work with the CCF and the Vital Signs Working Groups as we develop projects to address issues raised in the Vital Signs Report, specifically in the areas of Learning, Getting Around and Food Insecurity.

Diane brings extensive experience in a variety of administrative positions in healthcare and educational settings. She is especially skilled in volunteer recruitment, coalition building and group facilitation. She has managed a non-profit agency serving youth and families, as well as an organization which offered assistance to those in the legal profession dealing with problems related to addiction.  She and her husband ran an organic farm for 15 years and Diane is now both a freelance writer and innkeeper, managing the Hillsdale Bed and Breakfast in Bloomfield. We are all looking forward to working with Diane and know she will do a tremendous job.

As noted on our website last month, Victoria Leskie had begun to take on the role but has since stepped down. Victoria remains very supportive of the work of the Foundation and of the Vital Signs Working Groups. We thank her for this and for her valuable input towards our ongoing work.
