Alan Whiteley Scholarship Fund

Alan Whiteley.

Alan Whiteley was a brilliant lawyer who passed away on September 1, 2020. On a pro-bono basis, he led the CCSAGE crusade against an arbitrary government policy that ignored the rights of citizens in the placement of industrial wind turbines across the province.

The Fund awards a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating student of Prince Edward Collegiate Institute who is entering a post-secondary institution within Canada, preferably with a focus on environmental studies, math or sciences.

The scholarship was first awarded in June 2021.
