Bryan Lane Arts Scholarship
Born and raised in Prince Edward County, Bryan Lane was a sculptor who continuously experimented with new techniques, mediums, and concepts. He worked in kinetic sculpting, bronze casting, snow sculpting, and stone carving. Bryan was a founding member of the Arts on Main Gallery in Picton as well as the Prairie Sculptors’ Association.
To continue his legacy and love for the arts, the Bryan Lane Arts Scholarship will award $750 annually to one student residing in the County who has chosen a post secondary visual arts program of study (e.g., drawing, sculpting, photography, painting, illustration). If there are no qualified applicants in a given year, the scholarship may not be awarded.
