Jack R. Sisson Bursary Fund

The Jack R. Sisson Bursary Fund was established in 2014 to recognize his 32 years of exemplary contributions as teacher, coach and high school Principal. The Fund was specifically created to pay tribute to his 18 years of dedication to Quinte Secondary School (QSS), and his significant support and contributions to the growth and development of athletics at both the local and provincial levels.
When QSS closed in 2018 the Jack R Sisson Society decided to expand the bursaries to include one female and one male student graduating from both Centennial Secondary School and Eastside Secondary School and proceeding to post-secondary education at a college or university in Canada. Students will have demonstrated skills in athletics, leadership in the school community, a sense of fair play, and team spirit.
Application information is available through the respective schools cited above.
