PEC Winegrowers Association (PECWA) Bursary

The Prince Edward County Winegrowers Association (PECWA) was formed in 2000 as a Not-for-Profit Organization to support the growth and promotion of The County as a wine region through advocacy, education, and mutual support.


The PECWA Bursary will provide an annual bursary of $1,000 to a youth (aged 30 and under) from the Prince Edward County area (or have a strong connection to the area) pursuing studies in viticulture or oenology program at a college or university or a sommelier certification program.

How to Apply

  1. Fill out application form (available below)
  2. Provide a copy of your proof of acceptance in a wine related program
  3. Provide a copy of your resume outlining education, work experience and extracurricular activities
  4. Provide a cover letter or short video (less than 5 minutes to be sent to info@thecountyfoundation.ca or to our social media channels) explaining interest in the wine industry, and how the bursary will help you achieve your career goals
  5. Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or employer

The deadline for applications is May 31st each year.
