Prince Edward Flying Club Bursary

The Prince Edward Flying Club (PEFC) was established in 1953 and since then has continued to welcome members and visitors alike, hosting fly-ins as well as other events throughout the year.


This annual bursary of $1,000 was created to support an individual from the Prince Edward County area (or have a strong connection to the area) pursuing studies in the aviation field (pilot, aviation mechanical engineer) at a college or university certification program.

How to Apply

Sign for Picton Airport.
  1. Fill out application form (available below)
  2. Provide proof of acceptance in an aviation related program
  3. A brief essay OR video (less than 5 minutes to be sent to info@thecountyfoundation.ca or to our social media channels) outlining interest in the aviation field and how the bursary will support pursuing that career

The deadline for applications is May 31st each year.
